ABOUT THE ROLE
Role:
This position supports the Warehouse team with the daily tasks to ensure efficient operations in an effort to meet our business needs.
Role Responsibilities:
Break downof pallets for Warehouse TI-HI needs for Put-away.
Maintains an acceptable level of production and accuracy in work output.
Work directly with Receivers on merchandise counts, errors, shorts & damages
Work with Receivers on Warehouseshiftset-up.
Secure pallets with shrink wrapand ortape.
Clean all temperature zoned areas of Warehouse (Freezer, Cooler & Dry Dock).
Damage collection for vendor program.
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental objectives.
Comply withall applicable regulations/laws and company policies, including but not limited to Food Safety Policy, SOP’s & regulations, Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrustpoliciesand regulations,etc.
Qualifications/Skills/JobRequirements(About you):
Completion of Secondary School
Pallet jack and Forklift experience an asset
Reliable and safety conscious,adhering to safety standards at all times
Mid tohigh levelof physical exertion is required. Ability to lift 41 kg (90lbs). Standing and moving most of the time.
Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment.
Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
